Awkwafina An American performer and actress, started with humorous rap tracks which dealt with the subject of sexuality and race. Her career expanded to Hollywood following the release of an album of raps. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese as well as Korean parents in Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was Nora's first instrument. Also, she received the classical and jazz education later becoming a hip-hop teenager. While in college, she took classes in writing and women's studies. She even spent an hour studying Mandarin during her time in Beijing. After graduating, she began to concentrate on music. The year 2012 saw My Vag (as a retort to Mickey Avalon's My Dick) became an online hit, and it was featured in her debut album Yellow Ranger. Some other hits that went viral included Queef song and the winking NYC Bitche$ hometown tour. The track that was published is directly linked to the album Awkwafinas NYC, her 2015 travel guide. As a musician and an author in her portfolio, she decided to set her sights on acting in a third project. Apart from the early television programs like Girl Code and Tawk, she's been featured in films like Neighbors2Storks as well as Bad Rap. In 2018, she landed an array of noteworthy roles including Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. That June she issued the EP in Fina We Trust.
