Angela Kaufman
Angela Kaufman has been a writer, speaker and a certified intuitive consultant. She's also a licensed clinical social worker, licensed Astrologer, and an activist. She is a Reiki master as well as a certified psychic medium. Kauffman's fame was established through her work as a portraitist throughout her three-year stay in Italy. Recognition of her accomplishments is shown by her election to Rome's Accademia di San Luca 1765. Angelica Kauffman lived in England only for 15 years but she left a huge influence on the 18th century arts scene. Angelica Kauffman was only one of two female founder participants of the Royal Academy. Angelica Kauffman passed away on 5th November 1807, aged 66. Liz Powers, along with Spencer Powers, founded ArtLifting at the end of November in 2013. Liz is selected as one of Forbes 30 Under 30and Boston Globe Game Changers. Liz's interests include hiking, yoga practice and sailing. Kauffman began to become acquainted with the British community of Rome following her move to Rome in January 1763. A few months after, the family returned to Naples where Kauffman continued her painting and also learned English. It was there that Kauffman took classes in the works of the Old Masters and had her first work sent to a public exhibition in London.
