Anamaria Marina is a Romanian actress. Her debut on screen was in Sex Traffic, a Channel 4 film Sex Traffic in which she was awarded the British Academy Television Award for the Best actress. The actress speaks French, German, English and Romanian proficiently. Her mother is a professional instrument player. The father of the family is an actor as well as a theater instructor at one Romania's most prestigious theatre schools. "The Romanian Young Actor Gala Mangalia awarded her the Best Female Actor Award of 2000. She was also named the 'European Shooting Star' European Shooting Star' by the European Film Promotion Board. She was for four years a professor of the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu. bAnamaria is a Romanian Actress, born 01 April 1978 in Iasi Romania. An actress with Romanian heritage, Anamaria Marinca made her debut on screen in the Canadian-British TV series Sex Traffic for which she received the British Academy Television Award for the Best Actress. Aside from her acting in her debut feature film, the actress is remembered for role in the Romanian art film 4 Months 3 weeks as well as 2 Days which won her numerous awards, including winning the European Film Award for Best Actress London Film Critics. She starred in the Romanian film 4 luni 3 semaines si 2 days (4 months, 3 weeks and 2 Days) directed by Cristian Mungiu. The film was awarded the Palme d'Or at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival and two other prizes (the Cinema Prize of the French National Education System and the FIPRESCI award). She also appeared as an infant in Francis Ford Coppola's Youth Without Youth. She was Yasim Awar in BBC's 5-episode The Last Enemy miniseries. Marinca made an appearance in her role in the Romanian drama Boogie and Oliver Hirschbiegel's award-winning Five Minutes of Heaven. In the feature film Fury (2014) the actress performed the role of Irma she was a German woman, who is Emma's aunt.
