Jana Kramer bio
Jana Kramer, an actor and songwriter, who specialises in country-pop music as well as songwriting, gained fame on TV when she became Alex in the last three seasons of One Tree Hill. In the series' episodes the singer-songwriter was seen performing her first country album. The album bearing the same title was featured among the top 20 albums of the Billboard 200's top 20. Thirty One (2015), the follow-up album in 2015, also reached the Top Ten. As she ended the decade, she made appearances at Dancing with the Stars. In 2021, her self-doubting album Voices came out. Growing up within Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer was raised on country music and would eventually pursue a recording career but she began her professional life as an actor appearing on screen in the indie horror film Dead/Undead when she was still in her teen years. Following a couple of guest appearances in All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed Noelle Davenport's recurring role in NBC Friday Night Lights in the show's 2nd season 2007-2008. Kramer then appeared as Portia Ranson on 90210 from 2008 until 2009 and Brooke Manning in Entourage in 2009. She was added to the cast of CW One Tree Hill in 2009 as Alex Dupre where she stayed up until the end of the show in 2012, part way in. Jana Kramer Kramer was a star of One Tree Hill from 2009 through 2012. The actress was signed a contract in 2009 with Elektra Records, and she released her modern country-inspired track I Won't Give Up during a One Tree Hill 2011 episode. This track appeared later on the debut full-length album of Jana Kramer in the middle of 2012. It landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. After focusing on her career in music, Kramer continued to act and was in films like Heart of the Country 2013 (which appealed to her fans) or Country Crush 2016 (which would appeal her music fans). Kramer's second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th of 2015. Her album, Thirty One was the Top Five Country Hit I Got the Boy The album, as well as her duo track that Steven Tyler and Aerosmith performed together helped the album reach number 3 on the Billboard 200 and number 10 on the charts for country albums. In September of 2016, her appearance on the 23rd Season of Dancing with the Stars lasted 2 months, and she finished with a 4th place finishing. That year she also had an adult-oriented hit song with Feels Like Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
