She was born Christina Haack in Anaheim, California on the 9th of July, 1983. Her first position was in the real estate business. This is where she met Tarek. They were very successful in the years prior to 2008 when the market plummeted and many house flippers and real estate investors went bankrupt. Tarek El Moussa was nearly eliminated due to the 2008 market crash. The cost of their apartment was $700 per week, compared to the $6,000 they were paying per month for their home. They gradually rebuilt their business and their economy. HGTV and Rise to Fame Tarek in 2011, asked a person to help him create an HGTV tape that showed Christina and her flipping through the house from start until the very end. The tape landed in executive offices of a production company called Pie Town Productions. The couple fell in love Tarek as well as Christina. They signed an official agreement with HGTV in 2012. "Flip of Flop" began its premiere in April 2013. Over seven seasons between 2013 and 2017, the show was broadcast in 92 episodes. In the show, Christina and Tarek would buy properties, typically middle-income houses situated in Orange County, and would follow up with several weeks making upgrades so they could flip the property to make a profit. Tarek is primarily focused on removal and remodeling and Christina is responsible for design. She makes sure everything runs on time.
