Kristen Anne Bell was born in 1980 and is an American singer and actress. Her parents include Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier and both are television news directors. Her family was from Huntington Woods Michigan. Kristen was born in Michigan's Huntington Woods with the family of a Polish mother and father who is German, English Irish, Scottish, and Irish. Kristen's talents for performing were discovered at a very young age. She attended her audition in 1992, and was then offered an appearance on Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell was accepted by her mother to become an agent when she was only 13 years old. Bell was later chosen for the newspaper advertisements and commercials on TV. Then Bell also started training in private acting. Bell was a character who did not have a credit in Polish Wedding (1998), a film released in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School where she took part in musical and drama club. In her school's stage production The Wizard of Oz, Bell was chosen to play Dorothy. Bell was accepted to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theater following her graduating. Bell dropped out of school in 2001 and began playing the character of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. Also in 2001 that Bell's first appearance in a credited film, Pootie Tang (2002). However, her part has been cut out and the credits only depict her. Bell was featured in the Broadway revival of The Crucible starring Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
